For those of you who were following the antics of Flat Stanley - let me update you on his trip to Greece. That's right, that's him at the foot of the Acropolis in Athens,
on the 2000 year old starting line of the Olympic foot races in Olympic Stadium
and at the umbillicus of the world - the oracle of Delphi.
What you probably don't know is that he also walked around an active volcano on the island of Santorini and read the greek engravings in Ancient Sparta. He also watched a Grecian Talent Show at Epidarius and ate lots of greek salads.
Fortunately, as I prevented Pat from sending Stanley back to Max via a bottle thrown in the Agean Sea, Stanley is now safely back in Chagrin Falls where I am sure he had quite the story to tell to his class of first graders.
