Some people don't like homemade gifts. They would rather you take them to dinner or give them something shiny. Not me. I love home made gifts. The more blood, sweat and cat slobber the better. But for it to be a really great gift it comes when you least expect it. Maybe you have been working hard to learn a new language, trying out new cheeses, getting used to your family being home all the time and interrupting your naps -- and you may have eaten a little bird or something and you are not feeling so well - but hey then VOILA - a lovely little mouse full of cat nip shows up in the mail with your name on it. There is truly no better gift! And what is more, after a few quick nips and tosses, the tail comes off, so now it is two gifts in one. My aunt Stacey is the greatest. If you cough up a hairball maybe she will make you one too. Rufus, I know you sent it with love.... P.S. get some of that chevre...
