I have now been back in the US for almost two years, and have served as President of the Sister City relationship between Nancy France and Cincinnati, Ohio, USA.
My plan is to create some lasting economic and academic relationships that will afford a continual sharing of the culture and beauty of these two amazingly similar cities.
Let's be honest, when you get right down to it, I am sure you can find similarities between most cities. They all have hills, rivers, mainly manufacturing bases, a history of german tradition, a plethora of Universities, and were pivotal in developing the Art Nouveau movement....well, in fact, that's just some of the real commonalities that Cincinnati and Nancy share.
My pledge is to educate all of us about the similarities using photos to do so, and build a running diary of the experience.
